What is Pramiracetam?
Pramiracetam nootropic agent belonging to the racetam family. Pramiracetam was discovered by scientists at a subsidiary of Pfizer in the 1970s, called Parke-Davis.
Pramiracetam vs. Piracetam
Pramiracetam differs from piracetam structurally by the addition of a 2-(diisopropyl amino)ethyl group. Many sites incorrectly claim that it is only fat soluble. However, Pramiracetam is actually very water soluble (180mg/ml at 25C); more water soluble than other racetams in its family. This is due to it having both water soluble and lipid soluble functional groups on the structure. Therefore, the bulky 2-(diisopropyl amino)ethyl grouping allows pramiracetam to be both water and fat soluble at the same time.
