TrueDark's Daylights series do not filter out 100% of blue light as some blue light during the day is necessary! Daylights eyewear filter out the right amount of computer and man-made blue light so your body and mind stay alert but not over-stimulated!

TrueDark Daylights glasses are computer and junk light eye strain reducing eyewear and are offered in three variations to tailor to your needs:

Truedark clear lensed eyewear is ideal for users who work/live/play in environments that are lit with artificial blue light emitting fixtures and are exposed to long periods of time utilizing blue light emitting devices (TVs, computers, tablets, phones, etc). Clear lens glasses are ideal for people who suffer from disrupted sleep-wake cycle/circadian rhythms. Clear lens eyewear is also ideal for shift workers as they can be more sensitive to artificial lighting during the dark hours they are awake, which disrupts their natural sleep-wake cycle/circadian rhythm. 40% of blue light is blocked with our clear lenses. Our Clear Lens styles are a great solution if you work in a profession where a colored lens is not the right style, draws too much attention, or interfere's with your work.
  2. Truedark yellow lensed eyewear is ideal for users who work/live/play in environments that are lit with artificial blue light emitting fixtures and are exposed to long periods of time utilizing blue light emitting devices (TVs, computers, tablets, phones, etc). Yellow lens glasses are ideal for people who suffer from disrupted sleep-wake cycle/circadian rhythms. Yellow lens eyewear is also ideal for shift workers as they can be more sensitive to artificial lighting during the dark hours they are awake, which disrupts their natural sleep-wake cycle/circadian rhythm. An optimal 75% of blue light is blocked with our yellow lenses.
  3. Truedark transition lensed eyewear is ideal for users who work/live/play in the outdoors and in indoor environments that are lit with artificial blue light emitting fixtures and are exposed to long periods of time utilizing blue light emitting devices (TVs, computers, tablets, phones, etc). Our Clear or Yellow lens glasses are ideal for people who suffer from disrupted sleep-wake cycle/circadian rhythms. Our eyewear is also ideal for shift workers as they can be more sensitive to artificial lighting during the dark hours they are awake, which disrupts their natural sleep-wake cycle/circadian rhythm. Block 99% of UVA/UVB rays as well as 40% of blue light with our Clear transition lenses and 75% of blue light with our Yellow transition lenses. Our transition lens styles are a great solution if you work indoors and want the convenience of venturing outside where you need the benefits of high-end sunglasses.

TrueDark Daylights help your daytime/active hours by starting to relax your mind, body and eyes by reducing eyestrain and headaches from artificially lit interiors.

TrueDark Daylights glasses block between 40% and 75% of the wavelengths below 570Nm and – basically all blue, green and violet. We block the broadest spectrum on the market! Melanopsin, which is required for melatonin production (sleep), is very sensitive to green and violet, as well as blue. We created Daylights glasses because the “blue blocking glasses” (orange lenses) advertised throughout the internet block too much blue light during the day. Some blue light during the day is necessary for optimal heath and synchronizing your circadian rhythm.

What is Junk Light and How Does it Affect My Health?
